Application area
The MAHR rotary feeders are designed for the metered discharge of powdery bulk materials from silos or containers. Robust cast iron housings, steel or stainless steel cell wheels guarantee smooth running and high operational reliability. They can be driven directly via coupling or via chain-reduced, flange-mounted geared motors. Different gearbox speeds, variable sprocket reduction ratios, manually adjustable variable speed gearboxes or frequency-controlled motors enable fine gradation of the discharge capacity. TYPS SZR rotary valves are suitable for discharge rates of up to 36 m3/h. Discharge rates of over 300 m3/h are possible with the N and UL series.
Cellular wheels with 8-10 cells dose the bulk materials; the dosing quantity is determined by the speed of the geared motor. The dosing quantity can be changed by changing the sprocket wheel, manual control gear or frequency-controlled motors. Bulk material can be blown pneumatically in the low pressure range via the blow-out shoe and the leakage air discharge.
Rotary valves of TYPE SZR: with cast housing and cell wheels for small to medium discharge quantities made of steel or stainless steel.
Rotary valves of TYPE N + UL: are hard chrome-plated on the inside, with ground cast iron housings and steel or stainless steel cell wheels as well as inclined cells. Sizes 200/620 and 300/650 as heavy welded construction.
Hammer finish silver-grey, other finishes on request.
Rotary valves with motor arrangement via chain wheels enable a short design. Speed monitoring and large motors with temperature monitoring via PTC thermistors ensure operational reliability.
