The MAHR-BOW 2000 is used for the low-wear deflection of pneumatic conveying flows. As the conveying flow is forcibly guided along the inner radius of the bend, the wear that would otherwise occur on the inner wall of the bend is shifted to the material buffer zone that forms during filling. The distinctive shape of the MAHR-BOW 2000 changes the wear that would otherwise occur at these critical points. Immediately after filling begins, a support buffer forms in the bend, which prevents wear on the bend itself and thus enables long service lives, as the conveyed material is not conveyed along the bend itself, but along the support buffer.
