The air conveyor trough consists of an upper and lower box, which are separated by the porous loosening plate. The loosening air is blown into the lower box, while the product to be conveyed is made to flow in the upper box. Both boxes are firmly bolted together and sealed against each other. The channels are manufactured in lengths of max. 2,500 mm and can be bolted together to any length. Inlet and outlet pieces are supplied to match. A standard fan is normally used as the air source, which is permanently attached to the conveyor trough. Each channel section has a hand hole according to the drawing.
A special motor on a rocker is used as the drive motor for the ventilation fan. Protection class and voltage according to customer requirements.
Air flow rate/m2: depending on channel inclination and porous medium
Air pressure: depending on porous medium
When using this conveyor trough, gentle conveying of powdery material can be guaranteed. There is only minimal wear, as unlike mechanical conveyors, e.g. screws, no rotating parts are used. The loosening plate has a long service life and can often be regenerated after soiling. The hand holes make it possible to control the conveying or to carry out mechanical cleaning without dismantling the channel. Any number of inlets and outlets can be attached to the channel. Conveying distances are irrelevant if there is sufficient height to lay the channel.
